To renew rather than apply for the first time, you must have held a full UK passport before. For an adult renewal, your previous passport must have been issued after your 16th birthday.

As a British citizen you are entitled to renew your UK passport regardless of also holding Australian citizenship. We confirm whether any Australian documents are needed and check that your name matches across both.
